CM IT Solutions Acquires Computer Café to Better Serve North Hills PC Users

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWeb) February 26, 2007 -- CM IT Solutions of Wexford has acquired Computer Café of Cranberry as part of an effort to better provide outsourced IT services to small business and residential users in the North Hills.

Karen Stephens, president of CM IT Solutions of Wexford, said current customers of both companies will see little change in their relationship with the companies. "The only change is that we now have a larger staff, and there may be new faces working alongside those that customers of the Computer Café and CM IT Solutions already know."

Stephens said the acquisition makes sense for both companies and their customers. Ron Cumberledge, president and owner of Computer Café, had plans to retire and the acquisition makes that possible while continuing to provide quality service to Computer Café customers. As well, the acquisition enables CM IT Solutions to provide additional services to its growing clientele.

CM IT, an information consulting company with five employees, will gain Computer Café's remaining employees and approximately 200 customers to add to its already existing list of 150.

With the move, CM IT Solutions will also be able to provide customers of both firms with Computer Café's drop-off hardware repair services.

The added staff will also help CM IT Solutions better prepare customers for Microsoft Vista updates. With its launch earlier this year, many companies and residential PC users have had to upgrade their hardware to accommodate the new Windows operating system.

Stephens said CM IT Solutions and Computer Café will operate from their current locations for the next four to six months, and may relocate along the Route 19 corridor in the future.
